CONVINCE YOUR BOSS
Dear [Manager’s Name],
I am writing to request approval to attend the SPFest conference, the largest independent SharePoint, Office 365, Azure and Teams conference in the US. I’ve researched many conferences – and this is THE conference to attend for power users, admins and/or developers that want to expand their skills, solve technical issues with the best and brightest minds in the Microsoft community, and learn/collaborate with others that work within the same industry. Their localized approach to training events allows for greater accessibility to the best content, speakers, and Microsoft resources, while providing all features found in larger national conferences.
The conference schedule is packed with 2 days of pre-conference workshops and 3 days of 130+ technical sessions with topics covering SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Teams, OneDrive, Search, Content Management, Power Users, Business Value, Implementation/Administration, Workflow, Business Intelligence, SharePoint Development, and more. Their workshops and sessions are taught by Microsoft Certified Trainers, Microsoft MVPs, Microsoft Regional Directors and Microsoft engineers. With so many workshops and sessions to choose from, I can truly make SharePoint Fest my own custom training event.
By attending SPFest, it will allow me to:
- Stay up to date on Microsoft’s latest innovations
- Network with industry experts to find out how they are using Microsoft’s products and technologies to address their business objectives
- Discover tips and tricks, as well as share best practices and insights
- Engage with their impressive lineup of industry sponsors that provide access to quality solutions and products in the expo hall
With [insert applicable product(s) and/or software(s) here] being a critical component of our company, I believe that my attendance at SharePoint Fest will serve us well. This conference is a small investment that would allow me to target the specific goals of our company and develop actionable business strategies and solutions to take our modern workplace to the next level.
I plan to review slides from all sessions, including the ones I will not be able to attend. During the Ask Microsoft Anything session, attendees will have the opportunity to get the answers to their hot topic questions. After the conference, you can expect me to submit a post-conference report that will include a summary of major takeaways and a list of action items for our company to implement.
Thank you for considering this request,
